Posted in School News

On Saturday 23rd November seven students from KWC participated in the annual Thomas Cranmer Competition. Required to read an extract from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, entrants are judged on their understanding of the passage and ability to convey its meaning.

In the Intermediate category College was superbly represented by Lola Bass and Sam Heeney, while Seniors Diana Stetina and Laora Tobelaim also performed beautifully.

After a difficult deliberation there was success for KWC in the Senior category with Stefan Fong who was Highly Commended for his efforts. Meanwhile Alex Kirin received 2nd place and 1st place was awarded to Anthony Ranji. Anthony now has the privilege of representing the Isle of Man in the National Finals in February.
