King William’s College is pleased to announce that it will operate its own nursery at The Buchan School from September 1st 2020.
The Nursery will utilise the existing facilities in the grounds of The Buchan School in Castletown, currently operated by Hopes & Dreams.
The introduction of in-house nursery provision is part of the Buchan’s strategy to build upon its wraparound care services, which currently include breakfast and after-school clubs, holiday clubs and a dedicated minibus service. The Nursery will also benefit from greater coordination with the school with an integrated curriculum.
Provide high quality care and education in a safe and stimulating environment which promotes outdoor play and a healthy eating lifestyle.
Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop.
Offer children and parents a service which promotes equality and diversity.
Help children establish the skills required for ‘school readiness’.
All pupils registered for School Day sessions will receive lunch at The Buchan School.
Priority at The Buchan Nursery will be given to current Hopes & Dreams customers until September 2020.
We aim to maintain a reliable and welcoming environment which fosters an open-door policy.
We compliment our curriculum with a wide range of extracurricular activities.
