Hockey Success for the U15 Team

On Wednesday evening we hosted the IOM Schools U15 Hockey Final against QEII. The final had been delayed from the Autumn term due to Covid. Playing out of the hockey season was a big ask for all the players and after a very tentative first half from both teams the score was one all.

The KWC girls returned to the pitch with a greater confidence and determination and began to play in the way they finished off before the Christmas break. The team found their cohesion again and dominated the second half scoring another four goals finishing the match as 5.1 winners. The goal scorers were Lola 2, Susie, Hannah and Iona showing how it was very much a team performance and all players should be proud of their efforts. The players player of the match was awarded to Hannah.

Congratulations on a fantastic performance!
