On Friday, 18th January, after a 'light' themed non-uniform day in support of Alder Hey, the Sixth Form filled the Barrovian with their own light and laughter for the annual Epiphany Dinner. Both Sixth Form years looked undeniably fantastic, with the boys dusting off their bow-ties and wearing their best suits and the girls looking absolutely beautiful. The night consisted of welcome drinks and socialising in the common room, followed by a three course formal dinner all thanks to our wonderful catering team, who made the evening all the more special.
On the tables, a group of peers from both year groups joined a member of staff or two for the meal. This was a wonderful way to get to know our classmates better and allowed for new conversations within the two years groups.
Finishing the night off, our Head of School Natasha Ellis gave a much deserved vote of thanks to close the evening. The Epiphany Dinner was personally the highlight of my school year so far. Everyone agreed the night was amazingly put together and such an invaluable opportunity to get to know one another better and experience our first formal black-tie dinner. The evening was unlike any other and the perfect way to start off the new year!
