King William's College set to open own nursery at The Buchan School

Posted in School News

King William’s College is pleased to announce that it will operate its own nursery at The Buchan School from September 1st 2020.

The Nursery will utilise the existing facilities in the grounds of The Buchan School in Castletown, currently operated by Hopes & Dreams.

The introduction of in-house nursery provision is part of the Buchan’s strategy to build upon its wraparound care services, which currently include breakfast and after-school clubs, holiday clubs and a dedicated minibus service. The nursery will also benefit from greater coordination with the school with an integrated curriculum.

Principal Joss Buchanan of King William’s College said:

“This is an important strategic step for the school and fits in with our ambition to provide not just an excellent education, but a convenient and all-encompassing approach which supports family life today. We will over time develop and extend our wraparound activities both at the nursery and in school.”

Priority at The Buchan Nursery will be given to current Hopes & Dreams customers.
