From the moment your child enters the Preparatory School they will be able to benefit from the specialist subject teaching we offer at The Buchan School.
The Buchan Badge has been running since 1996 and has historically been completed by pupils in Form 4. However for more than seven years now the programme has been enjoyed by every child in the Prep School. It aims to encourage all our pupils to become well rounded individuals.
The aim of the English Department is to ensure the best possible foundation in English and to foster a love of literature and words.
We believe it is important for children to leave The Buchan School equipped with the ability to persevere, take on challenges and communicate mathematically.
