On Thursday 5th August an audience of friends and family gathered in the Barrovian for an evening of entertainment by senior musician and ensembles at this year's Autumn Serenade.
Our soloists performed an eclectic mix of repertoire from Handel to Elvis Presley, with everything in between, truly demonstrating the level of musical talent amongst our performers. Chapel Choir opened the concert with an incredibly emotive performance of Psalm 23 by Howard Goodall and, by contrast, closed off proceedings with a toe-tapping performance of 'It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing'.
A huge thank you to all of the performers to entertained the audience with such confident and musical performances. A great night was had by all.
