London Manx Society
The London Manx Society is an old organisation, dating from 1895, that brings together all who love the Island and wish to meet others who feel the same. Manx birth is not required, merely an affinity for anything Manx. The society has as its principal events a lunch in springtime at a central London hotel to which we invite a notable Manx person to address us and a Mhelliah in the autumn, which consists of a short thanksgiving service at St Bride's church, Fleet Street, after which we have lunch at a nearby restaurant. Please contact the secretary, Douglas Barr-Hamilton ( to record your interest and you will be given a warm welcome and informed of the next event.

“OKWs around the world share a common background of having spent some of the most memorable times together on the Isle of Man. Those memories and values we share due to our time at King William’s College are unique.”
