Be Seen, Be Green, Don't Be So Mean – visit of ‘Movingsounds’, Global Warming Workshop

On Monday 26th April King William's College L4 pupils were entertained by a group of adults teaching them about the ecosystem and what we can do to help.

In the first half of the day we enjoyed a presentation about the world.  There was a lot of acting, singing, dancing and rapping.  The presentation was packed full of information and it was carried out to us in a way we liked and we didn't get bored.

When we came back after break we split off into groups to proceed with some activities such as: learning to work together, creating our own rap or song, and we made our own magical scroll.

In the second part of the day after lunch, we enjoyed a video, ‘The Day after Peace’, about a man who tries to have a day in the year where in every war they will cease fire, to help those who need water, who need food and who need shelter.

Throughout the movie the man struggles to have his wish come true.  Some of the people were very demanding.  If there wasn't a picture of their country on the wall they weren't going to go along with it.

He struggles and struggles to get people on his side.  He decided to get some celebrities to join him hoping that it would draw people in.  After a while the man succeeded and every year there was an international day of peace on September 21st.

Best Day Ever!!!
