Skiing and snowboarding in Vermont!

Last month,  44 College pupils embarked on another international sporting tour, this time skiing and snowboarding in Vermont, USA.

College’s selected ski resort was Killington Mountains, where this group of enthusiastic young athletes would spend the next 6 days.  The skiing was varied for the last 2 days and a little bumpy!  Ski school was fabulous and really helped us progress.

But we did not just ski.  During the stay, we went on numerous social and entertainment outings, including 10 pin bowling, cinema films, shopping malls, swimming, and had to deal with some less joyful experiences, such as an electrical fire in one of the girls' rooms, and heavy rain on the mountains! Nevertheless, we had a remarkable journey to the USA and managed to sample the ‘real’ America and local town of Rutland.   Hopefully we will return again in 2 years time.
