The Cadet Vocational Qualifications Organisation (CVQO) has offered cadets the opportunity to be rewarded for their service through recognised qualifications. All cadets over the age of 16 may register for any of the qualifications on offer. There are only a few workbooks that need to be completed, in addition to dedicated participation in normal CCF training.

Three schemes are currently on offer:

• Edexcel: BTEC First Diploma in Public Services
  (Equivalent to 4 GCSEs at A* - C)
• Edexcel: BTEC First Diploma in Music
  (Equivalent to 4 GCSEs at A* - C)
• Edexcel: BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Aviation Studies - RAF Cadets Only
  ( Equivalent to 1 GCSE at A* - C)
