Drama in performance thrives at KWC! Recent years have seen an eclectic range of productions, from whole school shows such as The King and I to the Sixth Form production of Mother Courage and Her Children. The Autumn term sees the fiercely competitive House Drama Festival, which is directed and produced by the students themselves.
Recent productions have been 'Into the Woods' (March 2010) and 'BLIND' (May 2010)

The College regularly plays host to professional touring companies specialising in a variety of the performing arts. The nationally acclaimed London Shakespeare Workout Company visited KWC to perform Lifting the Mask.
Forms L4, U4 & L5 each have one period timetabled for Drama per week. In addition to this compulsory lesson, all pupils have the option to attend a weekly Drama Activity.
GCSE Drama is an option at the end of the L5 year and International Baccalaureate Theatre Arts is an option in the Sixth Form. Lower Sixth students recently performed a Street Theatre piece outside St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
Trips to the mainland theatres and to Europe are organised for all examination groups as a supplement to their studies.
Individual and Small Group Tuition in Speech and Drama is available. Students of all ages are prepared for LAMDA examinations.
Pupils are also encouraged to take part in the Drama section of the Manx Music and Drama Festival (the ‘Guild’) and highlights have included wins in the Duologue, Spoken Word, Public Speaking and Character Study classes. Students are also actively encouraged to enter The Thomas Cranmer Bible Reading Competition and the Young Actor of Mann.
