Visit of the National Theatre Lighting Director

This week the Drama and Theatre pupils, plus the cast of 'Into the Woods', have had the enormous benefit of a guest to the school.  Simon Fraulo, Lighting Director of the National Theatre in London, kindly agreed to visit College to do the lights for our forthcoming production 'Into the Woods'.

Extreme Reading Challenge 2010

As part of World Book Day a competition was held recently for pupils to take photographs of themselves reading in extreme or unusual places.  The pupils certainly used their imaginations and opportunities they had when travelling over half term as photographs were taken in Iceland, Finland and the Isle of Man. Some were action shots, others were in quiet hideaways and a fair number featured animals.

'Anne Frank + You' Opening Evening Reception, Tuesday 9 March

The evening began with very lovely music from the Sheean Prash Brass Quintet. The Rt Revd Robert Paterson, Bishop of Sodor and Man, gave a short introduction and welcome, and then came readings from Ann Frank’s diary and three choral pieces from the Manx Voices.
