A dramatic end of term

Towards the end of the Summer Term, the Fourth Form performed 'The Vackees' based on the book by Hiawyn Oram - a superb play about the evacuation of children to the countryside during the Second World War. This evocative and hard hitting drama was enhanced by the use of video footage, poignant, haunting melodies and superb acting. The performers really brought the plight of the children and the wider issues alive.

On Sunday 27th June a group left King William's College for the first College Pilgrimage. In every sense this was a modest affair, as we were not walking to Rome or Jerusalem, but to St Michael’s Keiill on Langness.

Congratulations to all our IB students on their excellent results

Fifty-seven Upper Sixth pupils were entered for the Diploma and achieved a total pass rate of 95% - compared to 85% globally.  In addition, 5 students, all from the Isle of Man, scored 40 points or more placing them in the top 6% of IB students worldwide.
