IB Theatre Groups participate in 'Invisible Theatre'
This week the U6 and L6 IB Theatre groups will be participating in 'Invisible Theatre’ ‘There's No Smoke without Fire’, which will be happening in the Barrovian Hall and Sixth Form Centre. The audience will not know that they are watching a planned performance.
Lower Fourth Form English Department trip to 'War Horse'
Twenty two pupils and three members of staff visited London recently to see what turned out to be a breathtakingly brilliant performance at the New London Theatre of ‘War Horse’, a play based on a novel by Michael Morpurgo.
'Beautiful Weaver'
A poem by Sixth Form pupil, Eleanor Drinkwater, ‘Beautiful Weaver’, has recently been selected from thousands of entries from across the UK and overseas in a poetry competition run by the ‘Young Writers’ publication ‘Bust-a-Rhyme Poetic Expressions’.
